Florida Housing Finance Corporation (Florida Housing) was created more than 40 years ago by the Florida Legislature with the mission of helping our fellow Floridians obtain safe, decent, affordable housing that might otherwise be unavailable to them. We work with a number of local, state and federal partners to help make our programs a success, including Realtors.

Florida Housing teaches an affordable housing course for Realtors that offers three (3) continuing education credits. The course, titled “Affordable Housing Solutions: What Every Realtor Should Know,” is focused on Florida Housing’s Single Family programs, including a discussion of home financing alternatives through low-interest rate mortgages, down payment and closing costs assistance, and other programs. There is no charge for this course. In order to maximize attendance, it is suggested that participating associations do not impose a fee as well.
